Materials
Polyurethane sponge and polypropylene handle, as listed on the product packaging.
Packaging directions
Read all instructions and warnings before use.
- Find the arrow on the package. Separate and peel apart the paper and plastic layers. Remove the product by its plastic handle, avoiding touching the sponge.
- Grip the handle with one hand. While seated, slowly and carefully insert the sponge into the vaginal canal. Maintain a grip on the handle. If insertion is difficult, wait a few moments until the fluids reach the vaginal opening.
- Gently twist the sponge as necessary. The packaging states that twisting is not necessary for IUD users. Leaving the sponge inserted for a prolonged period does not increase effectiveness.
- Use the handle to slowly and carefully remove the sponge. Do not leave it inserted for longer than 1 minute. The packaging instructs users to urinate immediately after use.
- Dispose of the sponge immediately after use. Do not reinsert or reuse it. If excess fluids remain, the packaging directs users to repeat with an unused sponge.
Warnings
For post-intimacy vaginal fluid cleanup only; not for anal use. Not a contraceptive, not protection against STIs or other infection, and not a menstrual product. Discontinue use if irritation or discomfort occurs.
